Security and surveillance systems

High-resolution IP camera systems with cloud management, remote viewing and storage that still has the footage when you finally need to go looking for it.

A camera system earns its keep on the day something happens and someone needs the footage. That day tests everything about the install: whether the camera was pointed at the right place, whether the resolution is enough to read a face or a plate, whether the recorder was still recording, and whether anyone in the building knows how to export a clip. Most systems we are asked to look at fail at least one of those.

We plan coverage by walking the space and mapping the entrances, the registers, the stock and the blind spots, then specify cameras and storage for the retention you actually want. Cabling is concealed and the mounting is solid, because a camera hanging off a wire is a camera that gets pulled down. Before we leave, we show you how to check a camera and pull footage from your phone, so the first time you do it is not under pressure.

What’s included

High-resolution IP cameras
Footage clear enough to be useful as evidence, not a gray shape near the register.
Coverage planning
Entrances, registers, storage and blind spots mapped before anything is mounted.
Remote viewing
Check any camera from your phone, whether you are in the back office or out of state.
Reliable retention
Storage sized for how far back you actually need to look, not the default the box shipped with.
Cloud management
Health monitoring and updates handled remotely, so a camera that stops recording is noticed.
Clean installation
Concealed cabling and proper mounting — a camera hanging off a wire is a camera that gets pulled down.

How it works

  1. Walk the propertyWe identify what you need to see and where the blind spots are, including the ones you have stopped noticing.
  2. Specify the systemCamera types, placement, storage duration and how you want to view it.
  3. Install and configureMounting, cabling, recorder setup, remote access and retention configured to what you asked for.
  4. Show you how to use itHow to pull footage, export a clip and check a camera — before you need to do it under pressure.

Who it’s for

Common questions

How long is footage kept?

It depends on how many cameras you have and how far back you need to go. We size storage for a retention window you choose rather than picking one for you — 30 days is common, longer is available.

Can I see the cameras on my phone?

Yes. Remote viewing is set up as part of the install, and we show you how to use it before we leave.

Do you service systems you did not install?

Sometimes. If the existing equipment is decent and documented we can often take it over. If it is failing hardware with no documentation, we will tell you that honestly rather than bill you to keep it alive.

Talk to us about your space

Tell us what you have and what is not working. We walk the site, tell you what is worth keeping, and quote the work. The walk and the quote cost nothing.
